Welcome to Casablanca! Meet your tour guide at the Casablanca airport or your accommodation, and begin your journey to the north of Morocco, Chefchaouen. Along the way, pass through the Rif mountains, and make a stop in Rabat to visit the Hassan Tower, an incomplete minaret that is still worth a visit.
Next, continue to Akchour for a 2-3 hour hike in the small pools to enjoy the Cascades d’Akchour. In the afternoon, take some free time to explore the city of Chefchaouen. Visit the Plaza Outa el-Hammam, the main square named for the number of hammams (public baths) that used to encircle it. Take a mint tea in a local restaurant and enjoy the spectacular view. Get lost in the narrow blue-painted streets, take romantic photos, and visit the Spanish mosque to enjoy the latest view over the blue city of Chefchaouen. Finally, head to your local Riad with a spectacular view for the night.
Today, you will have the opportunity to visit two imperial cities, Meknes and Fes. Wake up early in the morning to take pictures of the streets with fewer people than before. Leave for Fes and make a stop along the way at the UNESCO protected Roman Volubilis ruins. The capital of the ancient Kingdom of Mauritania was established in the third century BC by the Roman Empire, and it’s an important venue with buildings and exquisite effects. Although the building is incomplete, it’s still interesting to discover.
Continue on to Meknes, your second imperial city. Be sure to visit the gate of Bab El-Mansour, Later in the day, leave for Fes and spend the night at a local Riad.

Fes
Today you will spend the day exploring the imperial city of Fes. Fes is made up of two parts, Fes el Bali and Fes el Jdid. Start your journey in Fes el Bali, where you’ll discover the medieval medina. Walk through the streets of the old city and continue to Bab Boujeloud gate, entering the main thoroughfare of Talâa Kebira.
Next, visit Al Attarine Madrasa, which is considered one of the highest achievements of Marinid architecture, due to its rich and harmonious decoration and its efficient use of limited space. Continue on to Al-Qarawiyyin University, a university located in Fez that was founded as a mosque by Fatima al-Fihri in 859 and subsequently became one of the leading spiritual and educational centers of the historic Muslim world.
Later in the day, shift to Fes el Jadid to visit the modern city. Climb over the rooftop of the city to enjoy the moment. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your Riad.
Erg Chebbi
After breakfast, you’ll be embarking on a journey to the south of Morocco, Merzouga. Leave Fes towards Ifrane, also known as the little Switzerland of Morocco, for a short visit before heading to the amazing cedar forests in Azrou. Enjoy the sight of barbary apes and take lovely pictures before continuing to Midelt for lunch. Pass through the Middle Atlas mountains and arrive at Ziz valley, where you’ll witness the second-largest palm trees in Morocco.
Continue on to Erfoud, the gate of the Sahara desert, known for its fossils. Explore how they convert simple fossil rock into beautiful decorations. Continue to Erg Chebbi, a sea of sand dunes spanning 13.5 square miles (35 square km). Be ready to take your private camel for a 1-2 hour ride and enjoy the spectacular view at the top of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Once you arrive at your luxury desert camp, dinner will be served and you’ll be entertained with Berber music around the campfire before spending the night in your private tent.
Rissani
Wake up early to catch the sunrise at the top of the Erg Chebbi dunes and try your skills at sandboarding in the Sahara desert. Ride a camel back to your local hotel for breakfast and a quick shower. Continue your journey towards the Draa valley and Dades gorges. Your first stop will be in Rissani, where you’ll get to experience its traditional market. Continue the desert trip to Todra Gorges via several Berber villages.
Once you reach Todra, you’ll have the opportunity to walk along the way under 300m of rocks and maybe even see climbers climbing the rocks. Take some free time to relax in front of the cool water of the shallow Todra River. Leave for Dades and spend the night in a local Riad or hotel.
Agadir
Begin your day by making the road to Ouarzazate, the gate to the Sahara desert. Visit the Kasbah and the popular Atlas film studio where many famous films were filmed. (Entrance fee is 3 Euro per person). Continue towards the UNESCO World Heritage site, Ait Ben Haddou. The Kasbah is a group of earthen buildings surrounded by high walls, and it is a traditional pre-Saharan habitat. You will have free time to explore the whole area of Ait Benhaddou and take lovely photos. Lunch will be served there.
Continue on to Agadir via Taznakht, Taroudant a Berber village, and visit the local Berber market. Spend the night in an Agadir hotel or Riad.
Start your day by visiting the Agadir beach and the Marina, take a walk on the promenade, and enjoy the fresh sea breeze. Visit the Agadir Oufella, the ruins of the old town of Agadir destroyed by an earthquake in 1960.
Head to Essaouira, the coastal town that was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore the medina, the port, and the ramparts. Take a stroll on the beach and enjoy the local seafood. Visit the Moulay Hassan Square, the Essaouira Citadel, and the Skala de la Ville. Take a walk in the Essaouira market, where you can buy local handicrafts and souvenirs. Spend the night in a local Riad/Hotel in Essaouira.
Marrakech market
