Marrakech
Welcome to Marrakech! After meeting your tour guide at the airport, you will be welcomed with some dates and a short overview of your private 8-day Marrakech to Casablanca tour.
We will begin with a visit to the bustling Jamaa El-Fna Square, known for its street performers, markets, and restaurants. Next, we will explore the old Medina and take in the vibrant colors of the traditional markets. We will also visit the Koutoubia Mosque, the largest mosque in the city, and the Menara Gardens, a historic public garden established in the 12th century.
Take some free time to admire the Moroccan architecture. Continuing on to the Majorelle Garden, Ben Youssef Madrasa, and if time permits, we will also visit other notable landmarks such as the Saadian Tombs, El Badi Palace, and Bahia Palace. At the end of the day, we will transfer you to your Riad for the first night.
Ait Ben Haddou
After a lovely breakfast at your Riad, we will take you to the High Atlas mountains where you will experience the beauty of the rugged terrain and the traditional Berber villages. You will have the opportunity to visit the Ait Ben Haddou kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a traditional fortified village. This kasbah is known for its stunning architecture and has been used as a filming location for many movies and TV shows.
After visiting Ait Ben Haddou, we will continue our journey to Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Morocco and famous for its film studios and Atlas Film Studio where many movies and TV shows were filmed.
After Ouarzazate, we will continue our journey to the Dades Gorges. The Dades Gorges are a series of stunning rock formations. You will have the opportunity to explore the gorges and take in the breathtaking landscapes. We will stay overnight in a traditional riad or hotel in the Dades Gorges area.
Day 3 of your tour will begin with a visit to the Todra Gorges, a stunning series of canyons that have been carved out by the Todra River. You will have the opportunity to explore the gorges and take in the breathtaking landscapes.
After visiting the Todra Gorges, we will continue our journey to the Merzouga desert. The Merzouga desert is known for its vast sand dunes and the traditional Berber villages that dot the desert landscape.
As you are near Merzouga, you will be transferred to your accommodation in Merzouga. If you are lucky and the weather helps, you will enjoy a swimming pool in the heart of the desert. Your night will be in a local Hotel or Riad.
Merzouga
After a fresh breakfast at your Riad, Be ready for the full-day tour to explore the Sahara Desert, Be ready for a full-day tour to explore the Sahara Desert. Your driver will take you on a real adventure and you will have the opportunity to meet nomad families who live in tents and learn about their stories, culture, and lifestyle.
You will also visit the nearby town of El-Khamlia, where most of the inhabitants are originally from Mali. They will welcome you with a glass of tea and you will have the chance to listen to their music known as “Gnawa”.
Afterward, you will change your 4×4 car to a single private camel for a long ride. Join a unique excursion around the desert with an experienced camel guide. He will provide you with tips and you will enjoy the best sand dunes and a beautiful sunset view. After the camel ride, you will head back to the camp where a delicious dinner will be served. You will also have the opportunity to join in on the Sahara music before spending the night in a tent under the stars.
Ifrane
Day 5 of your tour will begin with an early morning wake-up call to catch the beautiful sunrise over the desert dunes. After breakfast, you will leave Merzouga and head towards the imperial city of Fes.
On your way, you will pass through Rissani, a historical market town known for its traditional souks and the birthplace of the Alawite dynasty. You will also visit the Midelt & Cedar forest.
As you continue your journey, you will pass through Ifrane, a charming mountain city known for its Swiss-style architecture and picturesque landscapes. You will arrive in Fes in the evening, where you will check in to your hotel and have dinner.
Fes is one of the most ancient and fascinating cities in Morocco, where you will be able to explore the Medina, the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Boujloud palace, and many other historical places.
Fes
Fes city is the oldest of the four imperial cities in Morocco; it may be the one that is worth exploring. After a delicious breakfast at your hotel or riad, you will be met by your local guide who will take you on a tour of the city.
You will visit the historic Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you will explore the narrow streets, bustling souks, and traditional markets. You will also visit the famous Bou Inania Madrasa, a 14th-century Islamic school.
You will also visit the Royal Palace and the Jnan Sbil Gardens, a beautiful public garden with stunning views of the city. You will also have the opportunity to visit the famous tanneries, where you will learn about the traditional leather-making process and see the artisans at work.
You will end your day by visiting the University of Al Quaraouiyine, the oldest continuously operating university in the world, founded in 859 CE. At the end of the day, you will return to your hotel or riad for the night.
Chefchaouen
Be ready to change the destination from the south to the north, A journey to the charming mountain town of Chefchaouen, also known as the “blue city.” After a leisurely breakfast at your hotel or riad in Fes, you will depart for Chefchaouen.
Along the way, you will have the opportunity to admire the beautiful landscapes of the Rif Mountains and visit the traditional Berber villages. Upon arrival in Chefchaouen, you will have the chance to explore the town’s narrow streets and discover the unique blue-painted buildings that give the town its nickname.
You will visit the main square, the kasbah, and the mosque, and have the opportunity to shop for traditional crafts and souvenirs in the local markets. You will also have the opportunity to relax in one of the town’s many cafes and enjoy the stunning views.
You will spend the night in a hotel or riad in Chefchaouen, and enjoy the tranquility and peaceful atmosphere of this charming town.
Casablanca
Casablanca will be your final destination. After breakfast, you will depart for Rabat, the capital city of Morocco. In Rabat, you will visit the Hassan Tower, the minaret of an incomplete mosque, and a symbol of the city.
Continuing on to the Atlantic coast, you will arrive in Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco. In Casablanca, you will have the opportunity to visit the Hassan II Mosque, the second-largest functioning mosque in Africa and the 7th largest in the world.
The mosque is an architectural masterpiece and a must-see attraction in Casablanca. After visiting the mosque, you will end your 8-day itinerary from Marrakech to Casablanca. Your tour guide will transfer you to the airport, and your tour will come to a close.
