Your tour begins with a visit to the Bahia Palace, a 19th-century palace known for its intricate tilework and ornate decoration. You will also visit the Koutoubia Mosque, the largest mosque in Marrakech and a symbol of the city.
Next, you will delve into the bustling souks (markets) of the Marrakech Medina, where you can find everything from spices, textiles, and traditional Moroccan crafts. You will also have the opportunity to visit the famous square of Jemaa el-Fna, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and see snake charmers, acrobats, and traditional musicians.
After a full day of exploring the city, you’ll have the evening to relax and enjoy dinner at your hotel.
Ait Ben Haddou
Today, you’ll leave Marrakech and head to the Atlas Mountains, the natural border between the coastal plain and the desert. The drive will take you through the Tizi n’Tichka pass, offering stunning views of the Berber villages and the beautiful landscapes.
You’ll visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, a traditional fortified village that has been used as a location for many films such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones. You’ll have the opportunity to explore the village and learn about the history and culture of the region.
Next, you’ll visit the city of Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert” and the center of Morocco’s film industry. You’ll visit the Atlas Film Studio, where you can see the sets and costumes used in famous films.
In the afternoon, you’ll continue on to the Dades Gorges, where you’ll have the chance to experience the stunning views of the gorges and the surrounding Atlas Mountains. You’ll spend the night in a traditional riad in the Dades Valley.
Sahara desert
In the morning and after an amazing breakfast, Leave Dades Gorges and head to the Todra Gorges, a spectacular canyon formed by the Todra River. You’ll have the opportunity to explore the gorges on foot and take in the stunning views.
After lunch, you’ll continue on to the Erg Chebbi Dunes, located near the Algerian border. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to experience the thrill of camel trekking and watch the sunset over the dunes.

On the way, you’ll visit the city of Erfoud, known for its fossil and mineral workshops. You will also pass through the Ziz valley, a beautiful valley where the Ziz River flows.
Next, you’ll visit the city of Midelt, a small town known as the “Apple Capital” of Morocco, and the city of Azrou, where you’ll see the famous cedar forest, home to the Barbary macaques, a type of monkey found only in North Africa.
Finally, you’ll arrive in Fes, the spiritual and cultural capital of Morocco. You’ll have the evening to explore the city and check into your hotel.
Today is your final day of the tour and you’ll have the opportunity to fully explore the city of Fes. You’ll start with a visit to the Royal Palace of Fes, also known as Dar Batha, a palace and museum of Moroccan art and culture. Next, you’ll visit the Bou Inania Madrasa, a 14th-century Islamic school and one of the most beautiful and well-preserved madrasas in Morocco.
You will also visit the famous tanneries of Fes, where you can see the traditional process of tanning leather and the artisans at work.
In the afternoon, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the Fes Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and visit the Bou Inania Madrasa, one of the most beautiful madrasas in Morocco. Finally, you’ll have time to do some shopping in the souks and pick up any last-minute souvenirs before departing Fes. From here your 5 days from Marrakech to Fes will end.
