Starting in Agadir, we will make our way to Essaouira, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its historic medina, beautiful beaches, and traditional crafts. Here, you will have the opportunity to explore the city’s charming streets, visit local artisans, and enjoy a traditional Moroccan meal.
Next, we will head to Marrakech, the “Red City” of Morocco. Known for its vibrant markets, historic palaces, and stunning gardens, Marrakech is a city full of life and energy. You will have the opportunity to explore the city’s famous souks, visit the Bahia Palace, and take a stroll through the Jardin Majorelle.
From Marrakech, we will make our way to the Dades Gorges, a stunning valley known for its towering rock formations and oasis-like gardens. Here, we will take a guided hike through the gorges, and enjoy a traditional Berber dinner under the stars.
Continuing on our journey, we will make our way to the Merzouga desert, where we will have the opportunity to take a camel ride through the dunes, watch the sunset over the desert, and spend the night in a luxury desert camp.
Finally, we will end our tour in Fes, an ancient city known for its well-preserved medina, traditional pottery, and colorful markets. Here, we will visit the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Dar Batha Museum, and the Bou Jeloud Gardens.

Essaouira
We will begin our tour by picking you up from your hotel in Agadir and heading toward the coastal city of Essaouira. The drive takes approximately 2 hours, during which you will have the opportunity to take in the beautiful scenery of the Moroccan countryside.
Upon arrival, we will begin our exploration of Essaouira’s historic medina. This UNESCO World Heritage site is known for its charming streets, traditional crafts, and beautiful beaches. We will take a guided tour of the medina, visit local artisans, and learn about the city’s rich history and culture. After our tour of the medina, we will take a break for lunch at a Moroccan restaurant, where you will be able to enjoy a delicious meal and take in the beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean.
Following lunch, we will have some free time to explore the city on our own. You can choose to relax on one of the city’s beautiful beaches or visit some of the local shops and markets. In the evening, we will return to our hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Essaouira.
Marrakech
Today, we will take a journey from the coastal city of Essaouira to the vibrant city of Marrakech, also known as the “Red City” of Morocco. The drive takes approximately 3 hours.
Upon arrival in Marrakech, we will kick off our tour by visiting the Bahia Palace, a 19th-century palace known for its intricate tilework and ornate gardens. After admiring the palace, we will take a stroll through the Jardin Majorelle, a garden designed by French painter Jacques Majorelle.
Next, we will explore the city’s famous souks, where you will have the opportunity to purchase traditional Moroccan crafts such as pottery, textiles, and jewelry. You will also have the chance to haggle with the vendors and experience the vibrant energy of the markets.
After lunch, we will visit the Koutoubia Mosque, the largest mosque in Marrakech and a great example of Moroccan-Andalusian architecture. We will also visit the Bahia Palace, a 19th-century palace known for its intricate tilework and ornate gardens.
We will end our day by a drop you off at your hotel in Marrakech where you can rest and relax after a day of sightseeing.
Atlas Mountain
Today, we will take a journey from Marrakech to the stunning Dades Gorges, passing through the Atlas Mountains, Ait Ben Haddou, and Ouarzazate along the way.
We will start our day by driving through the Tizi n’Tichka pass, a winding road that takes us through the Atlas Mountains. Along the way, we will stop to take in the beautiful scenery and visit traditional Berber villages.
Next, we will make our way to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its traditional kasbahs (fortified homes) and stunning landscapes. Here, you will have the opportunity to explore the kasbah and learn about the history and culture of the area.
After visiting Ait Ben Haddou, we will continue our journey to Ouarzazate, a city known for its film studios and traditional architecture. Here, we will have lunch and take a short tour of the city before continuing on to Dades Gorges. We will then drop you off at your hotel in Dades Gorges where you can rest and relax after a day of sightseeing.
Desert Camp
On the fourth day of your 6-day desert tour from Agadir to Fes, we will take a journey from Dades Gorges to Todra Gorges and the breathtaking Merzouga desert.
We will start our day by visiting the Todra Gorges, a stunning valley known for its towering rock formations and oasis-like gardens. Here, we will take a guided hike through the gorges, and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
After visiting Todra Gorges, we will continue our journey to the Merzouga desert, where we will have the opportunity to take a camel ride through the dunes and watch the sunset over the desert. We will spend the night in a luxury desert camp, where you can enjoy a traditional Berber dinner and experience the unique culture and lifestyle of the desert nomads.
Ifrane
We will start our day by waking up early to watch the sunrise over the Merzouga desert. After breakfast, we will begin our journey to the ancient city of Fes.
Along the way, we will make a stop in the city of Erfoud, known for its fossil and mineral production. Here, you will have the opportunity to visit a local factory and learn about the process of extracting and manufacturing fossils and minerals.
After that, we will pass through the cedar forest, which is a beautiful forest in the Middle Atlas Mountains, known for its cedar trees and Barbary macaques. This is a great opportunity to take a walk and admire nature and wildlife.
Next, we will make our way to the city of Ifrane, a picturesque town known for its Swiss-style architecture and beautiful gardens. Here, we will take a short stroll around the city and admire the beautiful buildings and greenery.
After visiting Ifrane, we will continue our journey to Fes, where we will arrive in the late afternoon.
Fes
Today, we will spend the day exploring the ancient city of Fes, known for its well-preserved medina, traditional pottery, and colorful markets.
We will start our day by visiting the Bou Inania Madrasa, a 14th-century Islamic school known for its intricate tilework and ornate architecture. Next, we will visit the Dar Batha Museum, a 19th-century palace that houses a collection of Moroccan art and artifacts.
After that, we will take a stroll through the medina, where you will have the opportunity to explore the city’s narrow streets and colorful markets. You will also have the chance to visit local artisans and purchase traditional crafts such as pottery, textiles, and jewelry. From here your 6 days from Agadir to Fes via Desert itinerary will end.
