Your Morocco tour continues with a morning spent exploring the picturesque alleys of Chefchaouen. This serene blue city is perfect for a peaceful stroll before we head towards the historic Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site filled with ancient mosaics and grand arches.

After soaking in the history of this archaeological wonder, we drive to the imperial city of Meknes. Highlights include the magnificent Bab Al-Mansour gate. In the evening, we arrive in Fes for an overnight stay in a traditional riad.

Today, dive deep into the history and culture of Fes, one of Morocco’s most important imperial cities. Begin with a visit to the impressive Royal Palace, followed by a guided walk through the ancient Fes Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll explore landmarks such as the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Al Quaraouiyine University (the oldest university in the world), and the bustling Tanneries.

Afterward, we’ll venture to the Mellah (Jewish Quarter) and visit an ancient fortress offering panoramic views of the city. Conclude the day with a return to your riad.

Your Morocco desert tour begins as we leave Fes and journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping first in Ifrane, often referred to as the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its alpine-style houses and cool climate. Next, we visit the Cedars Forest, home to playful Barbary macaques.

Continuing through the scenic landscapes, we make our way to the Ziz Valley, known for its lush palm groves and striking vistas. By afternoon, we reach the Sahara Desert in Merzouga, where you’ll ride camels across the dunes to a desert camp. Enjoy traditional Berber music and an unforgettable night under the stars.

After a peaceful night in the desert, your day will be spent exploring the fascinating region around Merzouga. We’ll visit the nomadic families who live in traditional tents, learning about their way of life while sipping on a cup of Berber tea.
